The following steps to successfully execute this ministry:

Obtain funds to shop for food and supplies

Establish shoppers

Go shopping
-
Store perishable food in the refrigerator or freezer

Store nonperishable foods and other supplies in appropriate cabinets

Establish routine cleanup days

Establish monthly meetings with the entire staff of Koinonia. The purpose is to ensure all staff is on one accord with auxiliary protocol. Give updates on upcoming events and solicit positive input and suggestions from the auxiliary leader and staff that might help the auxiliary continue to operate and rise in excellence, which is the goal.

To provide consistent, organized, and respectful distribution of food to individuals and families in need, while maintaining dignity, safety, and stewardship of resources.

The Food Bank exists to relieve hunger by collecting, storing, and distributing food to individuals and families in need. It serves church members and the local community, providing supplemental nutrition and essential items while following proper food safety guidelines.

Food Bank
Serving as a Quick response team to ensure the church and its congregants have the safest possible environment for children and adults attending and serving during weekly services and special events.

C.E.R.T. stands watch during services and at other critical times to ensure the safest possible environment is maintained. C.E.R.T. will maintain Care, Custody, and Control of each incident in a swift and effective manner that minimizes disruption and harm to persons or property. C.E.R.T members are expected to respond when needed in a medical emergency within their assigned zone.

C.E.R.T. (Church Emergency Response Team)
Provides medical emergency assistance to One Community Church guests and partners during services and events.
Welcome Duties During Church Service:

Extend warm greetings to the congregation at the beginning of the service.

Assist in maintaining a welcoming and inviting atmosphere throughout the service.
Altar Duties:
-
Hold and prepare the anointing oil for Bishop Taylor during altar services.
-
Assist at the altar during prayer and ministry time, ensuring all necessary items are readily available.
-
Support in maintaining a reverent and organized atmosphere during altar calls.
Benediction Support:
-
Standby to assist Bishop Taylor as needed during the benediction.
-
Ensure all closing activities are conducted smoothly.
Personal Pastor’s Duties:
-
Regularly stock the Bishop’s refrigerator with his preferred beverages and snacks.
-
Maintain the pulpit area, ensuring supplies such as lotion, mints, Kleenex, and water are available.
-
Prepare the Bishop’s personal items before each service, ensuring everything is in place and easily accessible.
